End Call

You know what I hate?  That no one uses those old school phones anymore that are in between two hooks.  Because it's much more satisfying when you end a call to slam the phone down than to just hit the end button.  Especially if your angry with someone.  If you hang up with them on your cell phone by hitting the end button, they are just met with total silence. But if you hang up on one of those old phones by slamming it down, the person on the other line is met with a  loud BANG!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing is better than that.  It's like giving someone the finger except over the phone.

You know what I hate? Just because we are younger than adults we have to "respect" them, especially when they don't respect us.  What they don't realize is that our ideas, thoughts, and viewpoints are just as meaningful as theirs, so we deserve to be listened to and respected if they want it from us. It's absolutely ridiculous for an adult to think they are entitled to respect from someone younger when they don't respect us.  That makes absolutely no sense.  And it's annoying when people say "Give me your respect!"  I'll give it to them when they earn it.

Missed Call

You know what I hate?  When someone calls you on your cell phone and you just missed it.  So you immediately call them right back, and then they don't pick up the phone!  How in the world can they not answer it when they just called you two seconds before!  Obviously whatever they have to say isn't important if they aren't going to answer the phone, so why did they call you in the first place?  Just don't call!

You know what I hate?  When people ask a bunch of questions about something that you obviously don't want to tell them about.  Like, if I'm whispering something to someone, it's really annoying when someone else goes up to you and asks, "what are you talking about?" or "tell me".  And whats even more annoying is when they keep bringing it up.  Sometimes I just want to shout "I don't want to tell you because you're nosy!"  People need to learn that some things are just none of their business.

Easter Egg Hunts

You know what I hate?  When people don't take you seriously when you say you're good at something.  To be more specific, I recently said that I am a good hunter, and the person I said this too completely blew me off.  How would they know if I'm a good hunter or not?  And more importantly, I wasn't specific when I said what I hunted, because people can be good at different things.  I may not be much of a hunter during turkey or deer season, but when it comes to Easter egg hunts, I dominate.

"Legit, For Real"

You know what I hate?  When people say things like, "legit for real".  It drives me crazy because its incredibly redundant, and it makes me wonder if the people know what legit really means.  For something to be legitimate, it is, according to, reasonable, sensible, or valid.  So it makes absolutely no sense for someone to say, "Did you know Jersey Shore is stupid?  I'm like legit, for real."  You are basically repeating yourself, and you just end up sounding ridiculous.

Look Out, the Kitchen Has Knives

You know what I hate?  How guys always act really sexist and make jokes about women and how they belong in the kitchen.  First of all, it's annoying because we live in an age where it has been proven that females can do anything just as good as men if not better, so why make stereotypical jokes about women "Makin sammiches in the kitchen where they belong"( yes, sadly, the people who say these jokes really say "sammiches," instead of "sandwiches").  Second of all, it's stupid.  What guys fail to realize is that there are knives in the kitchen.  I think they better watch what they say; I know how to handle a butcher knife...

Raising My Hand

You know what I hate?  When teachers don't call on you even though your hand is raised.  It's just really frustrating when you have your hand raised for five minutes to ask a question and the teacher just stares dead at you while continuing on with their lecture.  I think teachers do this purposely just so our arms get tired and we give up and then never get a chance to ask our question.  But if this is true, and my question is "Can I go to the bathroom?" they can't get mad when I just get up and go without their permission.  It wouldn't happen if they just called on me.

Terms and Conditions

You know what I hate?  The Terms and Conditions on Itunes. What people fail to realize is that no one ever reads those because they are long and boring.  Most people just check the "I agree" box and continue on with their lives.  This wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that every time Itunes updates it makes you do it again!  After a while it just gets annoying.  Especially because it takes forever for Itunes to load back to the original page you were on before the Terms and Conditions page popped up.  If I agreed once, I'm going to agree again.  Especially because I don't ever read it anyways!

You've Slept Long Enough

You know what I hate?  When your parents barge into your room in the morning claiming "You've slept long enough."  Obviously, if I slept long enough I would wake up.  Don't you think I know better than my parents if I've slept long enough?  Parents always hate it when we wake them up early in the morning, so don't they think that we might feel the same way?  News flash, if we wanted someone to wake us up we'd buy an alarm clock.

Rebecca Black's Friday

You know what I hate?  Rebecca Black. Well, let me rephrase that because I dont want to be accused of cyberbullying or something stupid like that.  I hate her song Friday.  I mean, I'm sure she is a wonderful person and some day some unlucky guy will fall madly in love with her, but her song seriously just sucks.  I mean, everyone knows Friday is the best day of the week because it means we get out of that awful purgatory they call school, but then she just had to go ruin it. Now whenever I think of Friday the happy thoughts are tinged by that horrible song.  Take a look, but I'm warning you.  Your ears will bleed and heads will roll.

Fake Pockets

You know what I hate?  Going along with the last entry, pockets in general are annoying.  Not the real ones, becuase everyone knows those are the best thing since microwave popcorn, but the fake ones.  They are so misleading!  Why even put pockets on the jeans if you can't use them?  Because then you look like an idiot when you are scratching at your pockets trying to put something in them before you realize you dont actually have pockets, they are just for "design".  Who gives a flying cahoots about design?  I've gotten more than my fair share of looks and even a few "What are you doings?" by trying to put something in a nonexistent space.  Designers, save us all some trouble and just stitch on pockets.  What is it, like ten extra minutes of work?  Everyone knows its all being sowed by machines at some huge, pollution producing factory in China anyways.

Phones in Back Pockets

You know what I hate? Phones that are put in the back pocket of your pants.  I just don't get it.  They are much easier to get out if you just put them in the front, and you look less idiotic if you have trouble getting the phone out.  Because if you cant get your phone out of your front pocket it simply means your pants are to tight and it's time to go shopping, but if you can't get your phone out of your back pocket it looks like instead of getting something out of there, you are scratching your butt.  And seriously?  Who wants to be seen scratching their butt?  How gross is that!  Do us all a favor and save us from the sight.  Just find a new place to house your phone.

Loud, Annoying People

You know what I hate? People who think what they are saying is important to everyone in the near proximity, so they feel the need to say it as loudly as possibly so everyone can hear.  And the reason they do this is because they think its funny, but what they dont understand is that their comments are not funny, they are annoying.  Sure, the comment may be funny at first, and I'll be the first one to admit that I've laughed at a few of them myself, but after a while it gets old, and these people just dont know when to stop.  They make comment after comment everywhere you go just for the sake of being disruptive, and you'd think they would take a hint and stop talking once people stop laughing and begin to glare.  But they continue, and you are left with the choice of ignoring the problem and just silently hating the person, or calling them out on their obnoxiousness with the risk of being called rude, and sometimes, even less friendly terms.  And why do we have to be put in situations like that when we arent the ones who are causing the problems?  I just wish that for once someone would have the guts to go up to them and say, "Hey you! Shut the heck up!"
